Reporting structure :

Reports to Stockroom Supervisor

Overall position description :

• Perform Stockroom duties that may include :
• Pulling parts from stock
• Checking in parts
• Inventory
• De-kitting
• Various ERP functions
• Assisting shop supervisors, leads, and / or staff with questions and finding parts
• May be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays based on business need.

Requirements :

Essential functions of the job :

• Communicate with shop supervisors, purchasing associates, and management
• Pull parts using ERP processes
• Verify parts to kit documentation, based on the BOM
• Use ERP systems to locate parts
• De-kit parts from kits returned from shop floor
• Create / Fulfill shortage requests in ERP system(s)

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities :

• Read and interpret technical information, such as drawings, datasheets, and / or BOM’s as needed
• Working knowledge of MS OFFICE applications (EXCEL, POWERPOINT, WORD, OUTLOOK, etc,)
• Knowledge of ERP application(s)
• Use of counting machines, including scales, measuring rulers, etc.
• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic communication skills

Required education and experience :

Prefer a high school diploma or six months stockroom experience

• Ability to effectively climb ladders
• Sufficient eyesight to read component codes
• Ability to distinguish colors sufficient to discern component values

A description of Safety Requirements :

• Safety Glasses required, for task specific roles, including cable cutting, machine applications, handling chemicals such as alcohol, or conformal coat material, etc.
• Ladder safety training is required.
