Support Broker Services, LLC is currently looking for a caring and dedicated Supportive Home Care Worker to provide essential care and support to a male individual with a severe seizure disorder and behaviors.
This position calls for experience in working with individuals with complex medical needs and behavioral issues. Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is advantageous.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the individual with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility.
- Monitor and manage the individual's seizure disorder, including administering medications as prescribed.
- Implement behavior management strategies to aid the individual in handling challenging behaviors.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the individual.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for the individual.
Requirements :
- Experience working with individuals with severe seizure disorders and challenging behaviors.
- Certification as a CNA or CBRF is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy towards individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs.
Hours : 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.
Pay Range : $17.50 to $21.00 per hour.
