JOB GOAL
Facilitate the learning process of students who need extra time, instructional support and / or behavioral support to achieve their full potential
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Must meet the No Child Left Behind requirements, which require a minimum of 32 core college credits; or an associate’s degree, or have a high school diploma or GED and pass the ParaPro Praxis exam.
- Desire to assist students who may be struggling academically
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Desired
- Experience as a teacher assistant
- Two years of college level education training
This is an at will position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law.
The employment at will policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and approved by the Board of Trustees of District 411.
