1st Tribal Lending is the nation's leading home mortgage lender to Native Americans, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians.
We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to become a part of our team! Our top producing Sioux Falls team of three loan originators is adding loan officer assistants to help each originator with their production.
You will work directly with a single loan officer on the tasks that they assign you. This fast paced and interesting job will expose you every facet of loan origination, processing and closing.
Your primary goal will be to make your loan originator more productive in sourcing and closing more loans.
Responsibilities :
- Setup loan files for processing and gather documentation from various sources.
- Communicate with borrowers regarding their loan application
- Communicate with loan processors, underwriters, construction administrators and closers
- Communicate with third party providers such as title companies, surveyors, contractors,
- Issue disclosures, requests for additional information and loan denials are required by RESPA and Fair Credit rules
- Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in finance, banking, or other related fields
- Familiarity with financial and lending practices
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills to handle a large pipeline of active loans and leads
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple issues at once
- Proactively solve problems on your own but also knowing when to ask for guidance
