Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Marshall, MN, for a Manager of Ecommerce. R eporting to the Head of Marketing, the Ecommerce Manager will lead and manage overall operations of the Runnings.com online shopping experience and its integration with brick-and-mortar store support. This includes content development, digital marketing and merchandising, customer experience, customer support, inventory control, market analysis and execution of strategic initiatives. The role also involves leading a team and managing vendors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Online Sales Management : Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to increase online sales and improve customer engagement. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and fulfillment.
- Website Optimization : Manage and optimize the company’s website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for conversions. Implement A / B testing and other optimization techniques. Advance visibility in search engines, drive organic traffic, and increase sales by improving SEO, SEM, faceted navigation, and visitor journey emails.
- Digital Marketing : Collaborate on marketing efforts, especially by driving Email, SMS, Google Ads / GMB / Performance Max, and Facebook Advantage+ Shopping campaigns through content creation, scheduling, and engagement across various platforms.
- Vendor & Automation Management : Leverage and manage vendors and marketing automation tools to streamline campaigns, improve website performance, and enhance customer communication.
- Inventory Management : Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure product availability and manage stock levels.
- Data Analysis : Analyze performance metrics to assess site effectiveness, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Buyers, IT, Operations, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment on e-commerce initiatives.
- Customer Experience : Enhance the online customer experience by leading customer service and fulfillment execution, addressing any issues or inquiries promptly.
- Team Supervision and Development : Cultivate and lead a team that drives engagement and performance, providing support and development to your team.
- Industry Trends : Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field or equivalent experience.4-7 years of ecommerce experience with a proven record of developing sales growth strategies.Proven experience in ecommerce management, preferably in the retail industry.ecommerce platforms knowledge including integration layers across enterprise technology stacks (PIM, CMS, CDP, CRM, etc.). Magento and Horizon expertise is a plus. Strong technical understanding of web applications and experience with large PIM catalogs.Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.Experience in retail or e-commerce industry is a plus.Pay Range : $80,000-$110,000 Based on Experience
