Job Description :

The Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A at Augmentjobs will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial planning, analysis, and strategy.

This role will be responsible for providing insights that guide strategic decisions, optimizing financial performance, and supporting executive leadership with financial data and analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Planning & Forecasting :

Lead the annual budgeting process, including long-term strategic financial planning.

Develop detailed financial models to project revenues, expenses, and cash flow.

Analyze and update forecasts based on changing business conditions.

Management Reporting :

Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to executive leadership.

Track and analyze key financial metrics, providing insights and recommendations.

Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information across various departments.

Strategic Analysis :

Conduct in-depth analysis on business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

Partner with business units to support strategic initiatives, including M&A, capital investments, and new product launches.

Evaluate financial implications of business decisions, providing actionable insights to management.

Process Improvement :

Streamline and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Implement best practices in financial analysis and reporting.

Work closely with the accounting team to ensure alignment between financial planning and actual results.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to gather information and ensure alignment on financial objectives.

Act as a financial advisor to business units, providing guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.

Skills and Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

Experience : 5 to 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.

Technical Skills :

Proficient in financial modeling and Excel.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan).

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements.

Analytical Skills :

Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Communication Skills :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Problem-solving Skills :

Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

Leadership :

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work effectively in a team environment.

Experience mentoring junior analysts is a plus.
