Medical Biller
Location : La Mesa (on-site)
Duration : Temp to hire
Schedule : Mon-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay $22-24 / hr
About the company : We provide Professional Medical billing services and institutional / facility billing services for cardiovascular and orthopedic billing
Responsibilities :
- Manage and post charges per batch Retrieve charge batches from various EHR platforms
- Group charge batches from platforms
- Organize and sequence ICD-10 and CPT codes per client request
- Use modifiers and add-on codes as needed
- Audit codes for accuracy and manage discrepancies
- additional duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of medical billing experience with ICD-10, CPT and EHR systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office, EPIC, Athena or Advanced MD
- High school diploma
