Responsibilities

Position Summary :

The Radiologic Technologist I under the general direction of a radiologist and Radiology Administration is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic fluoroscopic emergency and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.

Provides Radiology services to all ages.

Qualifications

Minimum :

  • Current and valid CRT Permit (California) required.
  • Current and valid Fluoroscopy Permit (California) required.
  • Current and valid American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
  • Current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R) required.
  • Understanding of sterile techniques.
  • Ability to follow protocols. Ability to develop successful relationships with patients and physicians. Can identify areas of concern and take accurate images.

Ability to discern emergent situations.

This position requires skills in Diagnostic Radiology Surgery (c-arm) and Fluoroscopy procedures. Must meet all Radiologic Technology I competencies

Preferred :

  • AS in Radiologic Sciences preferred.
  • One (1) to two (2) years’ experience as a radiologic technologist preferred.
  • ARRT credentials in any of the following (CT) (N) (T) (MR) (S) (M) (QM) (BD) (CV) (CI) (VI) (VS) (BS) preferred.
