Job Title : Senior Asphalt Sales Estimator

Job Type : Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Senior Asphalt Sales Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asphalt paving and maintenance, with a focus on new asphalt projects, patching, sealcoating, and related services.

A solid understanding of concrete estimating is preferred. This role will be instrumental in driving sales and ensuring accurate project estimates, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare detailed cost estimates for asphalt paving, maintenance, patching, and sealcoating projects. Ensure accuracy and competitiveness in pricing.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.

Develop comprehensive proposals and bids for new projects, including timelines, materials, labor, and equipment costs.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitive pricing, and market conditions to enhance bidding strategies and company offerings.

Work closely with project managers, operations teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to specifications.

Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to management, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and sales staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years in asphalt sales estimating, with a strong focus on paving and maintenance projects.

In-depth understanding of asphalt materials, installation processes, and maintenance practices. Familiarity with concrete estimating is a plus.

Proficient in estimating software and tools. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical information to clients and team members.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required based on experience.
