Who You Are :

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a public accounting or financial statement reporting role, ideally within a large multinational and diversified services context.

Experience in the crypto sector or traditional financial services is preferred but not required.

What You’ll Do :

Join our rapidly expanding team at Galaxy Digital, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the transparency and reliability of our financial reporting.

You will need to be able to function in a fast-paced environment for a business that is constantly changing. A desire to dig into the details and roll up your sleeves is required.

The Reporting team is responsible for the preparation of financial statements under both IFRS and US GAAP ensuring the accuracy of all publicly filed financial information.

  • Report to the VP of Reporting
  • Work alongside experienced accounting professionals in the Accounting Policy, Financial Reporting and controllership teams
  • Quarterly preparation of IFRS financial statements including coordination with internal subject matter experts throughout the reporting cycle
  • Assist with earnings release process
  • Preparation of financials for Form S-4 filings under US GAAP, and Article 11 Pro Forma
  • Compilation of supporting documentation for IFRS and US GAAP filings.
  • Interaction with external auditors including responding to audit requests and coordinating with internal subject matter expert teams to provide necessary support materials
  • Preparation of quarterly disclosure checklist for preparation of financial statements
  • Other responsibilities include but are not limited to participating in special projects, supporting process and controls enhancements, and performing ad hoc analyses as needed

What We’re Looking For :

  • At least 2 - 3 years financial reporting or public accounting experience (IFRS and / or US GAAP)
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment
  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments with competing priorities and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy of reporting
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency with Excel
  • Ability to innovate and implement new procedures to improve processes and workflow
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and inquisitive with a can-do attitude

Bonus Points :

  • Prior SEC reporting or public company financial reporting experience
  • Experience with Workiva-Wdesk and / or Oracle NetSuite / HFR Big 4 accounting firm experience
  • Technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting and reporting requirements
