Now Hiring : Resident Care Coordinator
Responsibilities of a Resident Care Coordinator :
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of resident care services by established policies and procedures.
- Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication and care coordination.
- Monitor resident progress and respond to any changes or concerns promptly.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members to promote a positive work environment and ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
Qualifications of a Resident Care Coordinator :
- A Bachelor's degree in health care administration, nursing, social work or a related field
- Proven experience in long-term care or assisted living.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to interact effectively with residents, families, staff and other visitors.
- Excellent organizational, communication, problem solving and customer service skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Empathy and understanding of elderly care needs.
