We are seeking a talented Music Director to lead our music program and inspire our musicians. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, strong leadership skills, and the ability to educate and mentor musicians.
Responsibilities
- Select music repertoire for performances and rehearsals
- Conduct rehearsals and performances
- Provide musical direction and guidance to musicians
- Collaborate with other staff members on music-related activities
- Organize and oversee music events and concerts
- Manage the music budget effectively
- Plan, coordinate, and lead all music and choir performances for Little Rock AFB Ecumenical worship services, special / holy day services, and practice sessions
- Assist the Little Rock AFB Chapel by performing services in accordance with the terms and conditions in this Performance Work Statement (PWS)
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with musicians and staff
- Strong educational background in music theory and performance
- Experience in mentoring and developing musicians
- Leadership qualities to lead a team of musicians effectively
