In this role, you will oversee the strategic management and operational execution of gift revenue processing, financial management, data analysis, and compliance within our Gift Recording Office in Advancement.
Key Accountabilities :
Team Leadership and Service Management : Lead and supervise the gift revenue operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Keep internal departments informed about fundraising strategies and donor engagement efforts.
Gift Revenue Operations and Financial Management : Establish quality control standards for gift revenue processing, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Manage accurate recording and receipt of gifts and pledges and oversee donor acknowledgement processes.
Data, Systems, Analysis, and Reporting : Utilize data analytic tools to track and analyze gift revenue performance, providing insights for decision-making.
Leverage reports and dashboards to support fundraising progress.
Compliance and Internal Controls : Ensure compliance with policies and regulations governing fundraising activities and donor relationships.
Lead the development of policies related to gift acceptance and financial management.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees or certifications in finance or accounting preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of fundraising regulations and standards, with experience in financial management preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Technically savvy with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of complex alumni and development computer applications.
- Familiarity with legal issues surrounding 501(c) organizations and IRS regulations.
