The Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics, at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, is seeking a full-time General Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the team at RUSH South Loop !

  • Advanced Practice Provider experience is required
  • Applicants must hold an FNP or PA certification.

The Advanced Practice Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and / or routine medical / surgical care of Rush University Medical Center patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the RUMC medical staff bylaws.

Promotes collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. Successful candidates will also meet all other state and federal regulatory practice and accreditation standards.

Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with the policies, procedures, guidelines of Rush, including the Rush University Medical Group Customer Service standards.
