Hendrick Collision Center (Fayetteville)Location : 5510 Cliffdale Rd., Fayetteville, North Carolina 28314

Summary : To assist the Accounting Department with administrative tasks and general office duties.

Supervisory Responsibilities : This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following :

  • Maintain office supply inventories
  • Schedule and plan monthly employee luncheons
  • Create & Maintain General Manager and Senior Accounting Managers Calendars
  • Assist in scheduling & planning team building activities with various departments
  • Assist Senior Accounting Managers & Department Heads in various projects
  • Schedule meetings and attend as needed for support to Senior Accounting Managers
  • Build relationships and communication with dealership personnel, Accounting Office staff, and HAG employees
  • Attend Weekly Department Head / Senior Management Meetings to strategize on how to make the departments better and discuss issues
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Participates in required training
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience :

Previous Office or administrative experience in a high volume environment desired. Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills required.

Certificates and Licenses :

o Valid Driver’s License

o Automobile Salesperson License

Computer Skills :

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Ability to learn the Dealership Management System, Spreadsheet software, accounting software, and inventory software.

Communication Skills :

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with company personnel.

Attendance Expectations :

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit;

use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Environment Demands :

Duties are performed primarily at a desk in an office setting. Work includes frequent clerical and administrative responsibilities and interaction with managers and employees.

Verbal and Writing Ability :

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.

Math Ability :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
