Job Summary
Responsible for supplying production with raw materials and recording information in ATC system. New hired or transferred employees are expected to perform this job to standard within 1 week.
Responsibilities
Production
Responsible for supplying production lines with components. Loading hoppers with fiber, making boxes for pillows, and applying license plates to pallets.
Pulling bags and shells to the line from staging area. Help packing and boxing pillows when needed.
Inventory
Scanning license plates using handheld scanners. Selects orders to run on operator screen and records downtime and change overs on operator screens.
Keeps records of fiber license plates pulled to the line.
Safety and Equipment
Responsible for careful and safe use of all company equipment and property. Responsible for reporting any equipment problems to immediate supervisor, or the maintenance department.
Responsible for performing duties in such a way to ensure the safety of oneself and one’s co-workers.
And other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack
- Basic math skills
Physical Demands
- Ability to occasionally carry, push or pull objects weighing up to and including 50 pounds.
- Able to ambulate or stand for a full shift.
- Manual dexterity to perform keyboard functions.
