Job Duties : Responsible for ensuring that all financial statements and statistical information are accurately and promptly prepared for monthly, quarterly, and annual distribution to management, the Board of Directors, creditors, and shareholders.

Directs the accounting and payroll staff and systems to ensure smooth operations. In addition, you will direct the inventory and cost accounting function to guarantee precise cost of sales and inventory balances.

Oversees reconciling key accounts monthly and coordinating the preparation of year-end audit information. Managing the accounts payable function will also be a key part of your role, ensuring vendor disbursements are made according to management criteria and established procedures and that Form 1099 tax information returns are filed for applicable vendors in compliance with tax regulations.

Manages the payroll function to ensure efficient and accurate wage payments to employees. This will involve working with UKG payroll software to file payroll-related reports compliant with government regulations, including federal and state quarterly and annual tax returns and employee W-2 statements.

Supervise the treasury function to ensure accurate and timely control of cash, checks, and ACH payments. Communication with all levels of management to assist and answer questions regarding accounting information, analysis, reports, or procedures will also be a vital aspect of the role.

Provide training, employee development, and ensuring effective utilization of all employees. In addition, you will participate in new system selections and implement new systems that impact the Accounting and General Ledger.

Handle special projects and analysis as the VP of Finance and Treasure and Executive Team requires. Qualifications : A Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of five years of accounting experience, including financial statement presentation, financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting controls, are mandatory.

A minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience with an active / inactive CPA is required. Three years of supervisory experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller, including oversight of Accounts Payable and payroll supervision experience with a large employee base.

UKG software experience is crucial, and Cost Accounting and NetSuite software proficiency is highly preferred, but experience is vital, and proficiency in Cost Accounting and NetSuite software is highly preferred.
