Commercial Door Installer

Seeking a skilled Commercial Door Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various door structures and components, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. The Commercial Door Installer will work closely with other team members to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Duties

• Perform frame carpentry tasks, including constructing and installing frameworks for buildings and other structures.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure all equipment operates efficiently.
• Execute Commercial Door installation with precision, ensuring that all units are level, secure, and meet design specifications.
• Install drywall, trim carpentry, and other finishing elements to enhance the overall appearance of spaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute commercial door installation plans accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, always adhering to safety protocols.
• Job Responsibilities
• Measures, marks, and arranges materials to establish layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors
• Uses various hand and power tools to securely install doors.
• Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
• Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
• Track progress through detailed end-of-day reporting
• Coordinate with project manager and onsite customer contact(s) to ensure project completion and satisfaction are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proven experience in installation work as a Commercial Door Installer, preferably in carpentry or related fields.
• Strong skills in frame carpentry.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential for accurate installations.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Must be physically fit to handle the job's demands, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.

Pay : $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 50 per week

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
