Unlike most in the e-commerce arena, almost all of our technological design, development, and systems management is done in-house, allowing us to create custom solutions within an ever-changing market.

This consistent, organic growth is why we have a need for a Senior QA Automation Engineer within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) development team who is looking to take the next step in their career.

This position is 100% remote in qualified states only (see bottom of page for list) on a full-time, W2 basis.

Our ERP software engineering team plays a pivotal role in constructing and improving the systems that manage various aspects of our organization, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, sales order processing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and company financials processes.

To do this, we use a Microsoft .NET development stack with C# as our programming language of choice. The development scope encompasses desktop applications, web services, queued services, front-end web interfaces, and mobile apps.

Job Requirements

5+ of years of combined experience in Web Automation, Automation Testing Frameworks, and Software Testing, in addition to the following :

• Advanced technical competency in C#.NET and / or Java, in addition to SQL.
• Creating and establishing automation frameworks / tests for desktop, web, and mobile applications.
• Use of automation testing frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Postman, and Test Studio.
• Experience with one or more test case management tools (TFS, VSTS, qTest, Quality Center / ALM, TestRail, etc.)
• Understanding of QA practices (white and black box testing, risk-based testing, system testing, regression testing, exploratory testing practices, etc.)
• Professional experience with DevOps and continuous integration tools (e.g. ADO, TFS, Jenkins).
• Strong knowledge of source control tools, like GIT.
• Experience working within an enterprise-level database.
• Full understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodology.
• Flexibility to multitask and shift focus as needed.
• Willingness to jump in and do what it takes to solve complex problems.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Help design and develop the test automation framework and infrastructure.
• Test and automate Windows desktop applications, Android mobile applications, and queued services.
• Collaborate with the QA organization on continuous improvement of the automation framework via bug fixes and new feature requests.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on code changes.
• Create and update existing QA documentation.
• Work with QA Leadership in automation strategizing and planning.
• Estimate the Level of Effort needed to test and complete a task.
• Build and scale CI / CD automation pipelines.
• Collaborate with Development, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to ensure project success.
• Keep abreast of current testing methodologies while working autonomously to update tools, skills, and techniques.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

Experience automating, testing, and / or developing within ERP software.
