A rapidly growing food manufacturer located in Redmond, WA, is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team.
The company prides itself on its innovative approach to manufacturing and its commitment to quality products. The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in the accounting of the company.
This individual will be responsible for a blend of senior accounting duties and costing, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist and participate with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports.
- Conduct inventory valuation and manage physical inventory counts.
- Support pricing decisions by providing detailed cost analysis and profitability reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement cost-effective processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or similar industry
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
