Florida Medical Clinic is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwif e for our OB / GYN practice in Tampa, FL, Shared call and office schedule is required for this position.

minimum 1 year experience required

GYN experience preferred. Certified nurse midwife and women's health experience is a plus ..

Florida RN / APRN license or ability to obtain, AMCB Certification and BLS and NRP certifications REQUIRED.

Keys to Success in this Role :

• Evaluate patients
• Diagnose and treat health conditions
• Accurately complete patient notes within 48 hours
• Assist with paperwork and forms as directed by supervising Physician
• Complete call rotation as assigned by Associate Director
• Document hospital visits timely and accurately
• Attend Florida Medical Clinic Provider Conference
• Participate in monthly CTT meetings
• Perform incidental duties as needed

• Normal physical ability
• Above average concentration and high level complexity of decision making
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Tolerance to stressful situations

Occupational Exposure :

High risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards

Job Qualifications :

• Florida RN / APRN license or ability to obtain
• AMCB Certification CNM certification required
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer proficiency
• Ability to plan ahead, organize, and manage multiple priorities
• Shared call and office schedule is required for this position
• GYN experience preferred
• Certified nurse midwife and women's health experience is a plus
