Job Description
This is a long term opportunity where you can put roots down and make a large impact at a company. It is a chance to further develop skills through Actalent as a project manager, running various projects including schools, fire stations, and multi-family, ranging in value from $3M to $5M+.
The role of a Construction Project Manager is to oversee the general management and execution of a construction project.
Project managers will be responsible for assisting during the pre-construction phase, including estimating, subcontractor negotiations, and value engineering.
During the construction phase, the Project Manager will work closely with the assigned superintendent and construction personnel to successfully oversee the physical construction of the project and ensure the project remains on schedule and on budget.
Project Managers are expected to maintain good communication with the client, client representatives, and internal management throughout the project’s life cycle.
Projects will include schools, fire stations, multi-family, courts, etc., ranging in value from $3M to $5M+. Projects will include pre-engineered steel buildings, structural masonry, steel frame, and wood frame.

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with an initial contract duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Southeast Michigan.
Work Environment
As the project manager, you will work out of the office Monday-Friday. As needed, the PM will travel to job sites for client and contractor management.
The position is hourly with overtime. Mileage is negotiable.
