Do you have experience with charge capture and Medicare medical billing in healthcare? LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to help prevent inaccurate services from being billed.
This is a 3-month or longer contract position in Chicago and is an excellent opportunity to work for a large healthcare company.
Responsibilities
Identify best practice to prevent inaccurate services from being billed.
Follow coding / charging guidelines while reviewing medical records to ensure that the clinical documentation supports all the charges.
Responsible for Charge Review, Account, and Claim Edit work queues.
Experience
At least 1 year of medical billing experience to include charge entry, charge capture, or CDM.
Working knowledge of insurance regulation including Medicare.
Experience with Siemens, Meditech, or Epic preferred.
Schedule : 8 : 30am-5pm
Employment Type : 3 month contract with potential to extend
