Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Program Assistant to support the Ending of the HIV Epidemic (EHE) project in the Los Angeles County area.
The program assistant will coordinate and perform a variety of administrative and programmatic duties in support of the day-to-day operation of the program.
Assists Program Manager with overall programmatic response and coordination for strategies related to diagnosing HIV, treating people rapidly and effectively, preventing new HIV transmissions, and responding to HIV outbreaks.
Assists with coordinating presentations, trainings, events / meetings and developing agendas, reports, letters and other related documents.
Candidate MUST have experience working in programs related to HIV / STD / LGBTQ+ or related.
The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through October 31, 2025.

$5,152 per month

Minimum Qualifications :
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to Public Health, Community Health Education, Behavioral Science or Social Sciences.
- One (1) year of experience in public health programs or a related field
Desirable Qualifications :
- A Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to the core business function of the department, such as Public Health, Community Health Education, Behavioral Science or Social Sciences.
- Experience working in HIV / AIDS programs, syringe services programs, substance use disorder programs, safety net mental health programs, and / or sexually transmitted diseases (STD) programs.
- Additional experience beyond these requirements.
