Profile : A law firm in Boise, ID, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 4+ years of civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to thrive as a collaborative team member.
Job Overview : The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of legal matters, with a focus on commercial and defense litigation.
This role requires a proactive approach to casework, effective communication with clients and colleagues, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
Duties :
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress and legal strategy
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and solutions
- Assist with trial preparation and courtroom presentations
- Maintain organized case files and documentation
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and case law
Requirements :
- 4+ years of civil litigation experience
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Admission to the Idaho State Bar, or ability to waive in
- Experience in commercial and defense litigation preferred
Education : Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Certifications : Admission to the Idaho State Bar
