Position will be located in Norwalk, CT office.
Position Overview :
Reporting directly to the SVP FP&A, this position is responsible for financial analysis for the business. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for these key areas of data analytics : Planning and Analysis;
Reporting; Acquisitions; Data Analytics; Key Performance Metrics, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Accounting and Reporting :
Participate in the preparation of the budget and medium-term plans, incorporating key aspects across the business into the assumptions for the plan, and periodic forecasts.
and developing a process to report key performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Drive the budget preparation, and forecast process for EIA, working with Business Leader and senior management to construct short term and long-term plans.
- Review budget and forecast plans insuring assumptions are appropriate, calculations are accurate and targeted results are reasonable.
- Evaluate financial results overall and on a reporting unit basis providing Japan and business unit managers with results and appropriate explanations of variances.
- Review periodic financial report for trends and comparison to budget providing insight on track of near-term forecasts and plans.
- Tracking economic indicators adjusting plans accordingly.
- Maintain key performance metrics measuring the company’s performance on a periodic basis.
- Assist SVP FP&A with projects as needed.
Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority :
Act independently; Decision making within company policy.
Management / Supervisory Responsibilities : TBD
Qualifications :
- Experience in financial services, specifically equipment finance, preferred.
- Financial planning & analysis, including budget preparation, financial modeling and maintaining and improving existing models.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance.

Education and Experience :
- BS In Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience in FP&A or other relevant facets of finance in the leasing industry.
- Experience with multinational company a plus.
Licensing and Certification :
MBA or CPA, a plus.
Working Hours :
Hours may vary and will require some evening work; frequently requires working 40-50 hours / week depending on business needs.
Tools and Equipment Used :
Personal computer, copier, fax, phone, and other typical office equipment
Travel :
Occasional travel related to attendance at industry seminars
Physical Demands :
- Digital dexterity and hand / eye coordination in operation of office equipment
- Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
- Ability to speak to and hear customers and / or other employees via phone or in person
- Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another

The salary will be between $73,000 and $88,000 with an opportunity to earn (a discretionary annual bonus).
The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data / ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
