Job Details
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Creation and coordination for sophisticated, efficient, and innovative designs
- Coordinating project development with the project manager and assist with all project efforts, both technical and administrative to ensure successful completion
- Production and coordination of working drawings
- Keeping of document records of the design and construction drawing processes
- Laying groundwork for the successful organization and kick-off for a project
- Coordinating the preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages
- Assist in the review, processing and tracking of all RFI’s, Submittals, Shop Drawings and related consultant reviews and responses and jurisdictional permitting
- Monitoring and distributing internal and external project communications as requested
- Meeting deadlines, removing obstacles, and participating in design team meetings
- Coordinating with consultants on each phase of the project and communicate any updates and changes
- Collaborating with architectural and administrative team members within the office
- Knowledge and application of current building, zoning, fire protection and jurisdictional code requirements
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Autodesk Revit
- Excellent written, oral and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to collaborate with others in a deadline driven environment
- Proactive attitude
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-8+ years of professional experience
- Licensure preferred but not a requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program (or equivalent professional experience)
