As a Teller, you will :
- Greet members in a prompt, friendly and professional manner, while actively listening and asking questions to understand our members’ needs.
- Perform a variety of financial and member service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, Loan payments, and other services specific to each .
- Share and recommend products and service promotions with our members, making appropriate referrals within the credit union.
- Represent and promote Altra at sponsored events and community involvement opportunities.
Qualified candidates will be required to have a high school diploma, GED or HSED and a minimum one (1) month to one (1) year of Teller, retail and / or customer service experience.
Basic math and communication skills, customer service, attention to detail, and cash handing experience preferred. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn are required.
The essential functions of a Teller at Altra will require standing for extended periods of time and potentially lifting up to 50 pounds (coin bags), when needed.

This position is scheduled for 40-hours per week and will require flexibility within the posted office hours. Operating hours at each office location are 7 : 00 a.
m. to 5 : 30 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8 : 00 a.m. to Noon. Each office requires Tellers to work anywhere from one (1) to three (3) Saturdays per month.
- Monday Friday : 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m.
- Monday Friday : 7 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m.
Pay and Benefits :
- $16.00 per hour, based on experience.
