This is a senior support role which serves as the lead resource for daily operations of the Treasury Management Operations Department.
This position will provide back up for client service but is operationally driven and focused on process improvement, training, and monitoring functions within the department.
Assists the Department Team Leader with new product implementation, audit functions and other projects.
Responsibilities
Responsible for a variety of TM operational on-the-job training : Delivery of initial training of new team members;Development and facilitation of department training for new and ongoing changes;
Coordinates training outside of the department for retail associates (TM products).
- Assists the TM Operations Department Team Leader with the following : Assists with department operations and scheduling, including assigning daily duties and confirming completion, as needed.
- Assists with the review and resolution of current exam documentation, compliance and / or audit findings for functions under direct control;
- assists with ongoing compliance associated with payment processing guidance, rules, and regulations as well as exams (external and internal);
- Contributes to the implementation and ongoing maintenance of MidWestOne Bank’s cash management technology; participates in planning, testing, communication, and documentation related to technology;
- Assists with department operations and scheduling, including assigning daily duties and confirming completion thereof;Assists with the administration of the bank’s account analysis system;
- serves as primary back-up to Treasury Management Operations Support for monthly account analysis processing.Monitors department audit functions;
- In collaboration with the Department Team Leader, coordinates continuous improvement processes for Treasury Management Operations in collaboration with the Department Team Leader : Conducts regular internal procedure and process reviews to guarantee adherence to compliance, efficiency, and product risk reduction;
Conducts client risk review processes with assistance from the TM Operations support staff.
- Serves as an escalation point for more complex business customer resolution and acknowledges customer inquiries in an appropriate manner ensuring response time meets the department’s minimum service standards.
- Expands existing relationships by suggesting additional Treasury Management services to business customers; refers to Treasury Management Sales Team.
- Administers client risk review processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- In addition to education in the field of business or related field, 1-2 years of experience in a TM Operations related role.
- Prefer 3 years of banking or financial institution experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
