Job Title : Maintenance Supervisor (Afternoon Shift : 3-11pm)
Location : Lincoln, Nebraska
Job Overview :
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment, and foundry casting machinery.
You’ll be responsible for the safety, productivity, and quality of your team’s work while actively participating in maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise electricians, mechanics, and clean-up personnel to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Participate in maintenance tasks while coordinating with planners, purchasing, and vendors for repairs and routine maintenance.
- Maintain and review check sheets and preventive maintenance (PM) records, promptly addressing any issues.
- Monitor equipment uptime and efficiency, collaborating with other supervisors to drive improvements.
- Train employees on job functions and provide safety training to prevent unsafe work conditions.
- Investigate workplace accidents and injuries, preparing detailed reports on findings.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations, manage waste, and handle administrative tasks like report writing and approving expenditures.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and managing equipment repairs.
- Ability to train and qualify team members on safety and job functions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety protocols.
