On-Site Medical Scribe Position

Make a difference in the medical field with an On-Site Medical Scribe role with Scribekick.

• Paid training that provides in-depth knowledge of HPI documentation, EMR systems, medical terminology, disease processes, procedures, medications, medical decision making, and more.
• Specialties you can work with : Primary Care (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics), Surgical Specialties (Orthopedic, General, Breast, Urology, Dermatology), Medical Specialties (Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary, Radiation Oncology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management).

Basic qualifications :

• Consistent availability
• Reliable transportation
• Typing test score of 60+ WPM
• Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities :

• Scribe in real-time while accompanying physician during clinic, documenting patient information into the EMR (history, chief complaint, review of systems, physical exam, assessment and plan).
• Input orders as directed by the provider including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.
• Handle any and all patient information with the utmost compliance to HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate any provider's schedule changes to the client services team.

Salem, Blacksburg, Roanoke

Compensation :

• Hourly rate of $12-16 per hour based on experience and location
• Paid training
• Mileage reimbursements, as needed
