We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Packer for plastic manufacturing facility in the Houston, TX area.
As a Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality packaging of our products according to company standards.
This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Pack plastic products into designated containers or boxes according to specified packaging standards.
- Count, inventory completed products and package correct amounts for each customer order.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards before packing.
- Label containers accurately with required information such as product codes, lot numbers, and dates.
- Monitor packaging supplies and inform the supervisor when supplies are low.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding packaging, safety, and quality.
Qualifications :
- Previous packaging experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in a packing or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Able to stand for long periods and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and recording inventory.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
