JOB DESCRIPTION
Position :
The FSM is responsible for management of the Fortress Downhole Tools Cyclops Setting Tool Recycling program in the field, including the onboarding, performance, and execution of Fortress processes and procedures.
Additionally, the FSM will represent Fortress in the field on investigations as well as providing problem solving in circumstances where needed.
The FSM is responsible for ensuring that the quality of the Fortress supplied products meets or exceeds the customer's requirements and maintains the standard of excellence established by Fortress Downhole Tools.
Will have all field personnel reporting in, and will report up to COO. This is an exempt position.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with customer field representatives to effectively execute Cyclops Setting Tool operations on customer field locations.
- Be the Onboard facilitator for the Permian (Midland / Delaware) basin, and other basins.
- Manage reporting personnel (FSE) to Fortress standards.
- Provide field technical support to customers for Fortress Cyclops Setting Tools program.
- Make routine field visits to refresh WL on handling, bleed off, and any other aspect of the setting tool.
- Assist with development and implementation of new product offerings, i.e. gathering information, field implementation strategies, etc.
- Initiate incident investigations, report up in timely manner, and partake in devising a solution.
- Ability to help operations if / when needed.
- Have the ability to disassemble, clean, inspect, rebuild, and test Fortress Cyclops Setting Tools per the applicable Fortress Work Instructions.
- Report all steps of the Fortress Cyclops Recycling Program through iFortress software.
- Help assess driver capabilities, and any other field personnel, when on location.
- Ensure reporting of any field or technical issues are conveyed to management and sales team.
- Sit in on weekly OPS meeting in Midland.
- Be available for office visits with OPS as needed, accompany sales if needed for key visits and sit in on Engineering visits when discussing field reported on issues.
- When on location, observes the condition of all Fortress equipment, and reports any deficiencies accordingly.
- Help to ensure housekeeping is kept to the highest standard every day.
- Maintains the highest level of professionalism and works with honesty and integrity, maintaining Customer Service.
- Any other duty, responsibility, or task as assigned by supervisor.
Skills Required :
- Strong technical background working with downhole tools utilized in pump down operations, including wireline setting tools, frac plugs, and perforating guns.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Available to work weekends and holidays as needed to support customer field operations.
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, and operational management skills.
- Wireline or downhole experience is a must.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 OS, Microsoft Office, and iFortress.
- Forklift training.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs
