WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview) :

The Senior Analyst, Performance Assessment leads the DCS program for performance assessment, including metrics, measurement and performance evaluation.

This position operates in support of all pillar and core processes of Disaster Cycle Service (DCS).

Drivers for this work include : Numbers of processes or events evaluated, number of metrics, number and requirements of grant-funded programs, and performance assessment capability and resources available in internal teams and the field.

This position reports to the Director, Disaster Business Operations

This position works closely with Disaster Cycle Services business process owners, program managers, and the Humanitarian Services Operations team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated performance assessment activities.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities) :

  • MUST HAVE DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN POWER BI DATA VISUALIZATION DESIGN AND DATAFLOW PROGRAMMING - Leads the design and development of data collection and data analysis processes to allow accurate real-time monitoring and improvement of DCS programs and processes.
  • Facilitates the development of metrics and measures for DCS processes and programs and the collection and analysis of performance data.

Supports interpretation of measurement tools.

  • Creates and supports performance and evaluation tools and systems for accurate, organized and complete metrics and performance information.
  • Develops and supports volunteers who are the primary Red Cross workforce. Engages volunteers as equal team members with specific responsibilities as part of their work
  • Supports large-scale relief operations activities when required.
  • Experience with report writing and project management, including developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
  • Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in specific area. Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.

Adapt precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.

Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas

The salary range for this position is $95,000.00-$135,000.00.

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed.

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications ) :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field required. Six sigma certification preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Management Experience : N / A
  • Skills & Abilities : High level of understanding of the organization's business systems and processes as well as industry-wide requirements.

Must demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, tactical execution, project management, process management and business systems requirements definition.

Must understand technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment.

Microsoft Office Suite. Database Applications. Ability to work on a team.

  • Travel : Some travel may be required.
  • Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
  • Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs.

Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
