Job Purpose
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk under the direction of Logistics Manager shall be an integral component that shall focus on inventory management, shipping & receiving process as well as acquiring the necessary information to comply with the customer’s requirements.
This position is the focal point of inventory information and experience is mandatory.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the transfer, shipping & receiving of company products to in-house departments, vendors and customers.
Provide on-the-job training to S & R assistant employees.
Maintain current product knowledge and categorization of inventory products.
Maintain communications reports for sales team and inventory coordinator.
Assist in the development of special sales activities to reduce stock.
Manage transfer of product per the work order and / or customer and sales team’s need.
Assist with Inventory reports on daily, weekly, & monthly basis with detailed analysis.
Enter accurate, consistent and enhancements to the inventory structure within the ERP System.
Provide inventory information to Inventory Coordinator, Sales and Customers when deemed necessary.
Assist with Return to Vendor processes as well as adjustments and reject tracking.
Input product descriptions and maintain product rotation and assessment of stock and deterioration.
Assist with annual inventory audit, reconciliation and reports.

Qualifications / Competencies
Education :
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Years of Experience :
Prefer at least 1 years’ experience in shipping & receiving.
Job Knowledge :
o Exceptional reading, writing of English as well as solid arithmetic and Computer skills.
o Ability to organize vast amounts of data and multi-task several priorities with excellent time management.
o Capable of working MS Office suite especially Excel as well as the ability to grasp an ERP System.
Personal Competencies :
o Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
o Employee must be able to travel & work with a flexible schedule which may require over-time
Safety :
o Understands all applicable location safety rules and regulations and makes sure that all are being followed.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Working conditions are split between a professional office environment and a normal manufacturing environment.
Work involves delegated and operation detail.
Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and / or fingers in a repetitive manner.
Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach / handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
Well-lighted, heated and / or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
The ability to work in loud, hot environments / extreme weather while wearing required PPE.
Ability to see 20-20 when corrected.
Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
