CetraRuddy, an award winning, global leader in Architecture, Planning, and Interior Design, is seeking an Architectural Project Manager with Residential Development experience and fluency in Korean to join our Architecture team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medium to large scale development projects during all phases of work, leading a team of designers & architects with the clear goal of providing the highest possible quality of service and client satisfaction along with quality design.

The Project Manager is to maintain and monitor project profitability and schedule adherence, and to coordinate and manage project communications, contracts, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Execution of project set up, kick-off meetings, and onboarding
  • Review & understand client contracts
  • Review consultant proposals & contracts
  • Establish a project schedule & work plan. Once a project is underway, update schedule and workplan in conjunction with staffing and project profitability as necessary.
  • Monitor & report on project goals for design, delivery, sustainability, and profitability
  • Develop & oversee a project team, establishing, assigning, and holding team members responsible for deliverables and milestones
  • Monitor project budget & profitability making adjustments, as necessary, to maintain performance goals
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Review design documents for quality and adherence to firm standards.
  • Schedule & oversee consultants, developing - when necessary - their scope of work and agreements, and securing signed contracts.
  • Assis the finance team with billing & collection.
  • Advise the PIC of any potential changes in service, and seek additional fees for services when required
  • Report legal & lability issues to the PIC.
  • Manage Construction Administration
  • Review time cards and expense reports related to the project.

Qualifications :

  • Fluency in Korean
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience. Master's degree preferred
  • 10 plus years’ experience in architecture with 5 years prior project management and residential design experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy, including construction document preparation and construction administration and / or pre-construction management
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with demonstrated experience
  • Extensive knowledge of codes, standards, accessibility laws, regulatory requirements and relevant third-party certification
  • Passion for quality work with strong attention to detail and initiative
  • Commitment to sustainability and background in sustainable design; LEED AP or similar designation a plus
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong oral, written and visual / graphic communication skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues, reports and other deliverables
