Purpose
The Sr Technical Lead IT Projects will provide leadership and technical expertise for large-scale IT-based initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with business goals.
This role coordinates technical elements across multiple departments and manages complex dependencies. The role will also involve collaboration with various leaders and teams to ensure seamless project execution, though the primary focus is on the technical aspects rather than project management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of large-scale IT projects, ensuring all technical aspects are seamlessly planned, integrated, and implemented.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact, overseeing project deliverables and facilitating communication between vendors and technical teams.
- Provide expert guidance on system architecture design and technical integrations to ensure all solutions meet industry standards and align with organizational objectives.
- Proactively identify and address technical challenges during project execution, offering timely solutions.
- Ensure comprehensive technical documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle and that quality assurance processes are followed to meet technical standards.
- Regularly update senior leadership on project progress, offering relevant technical insights as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to align technology initiatives with business growth and digital transformation strategies.
- Mentor and develop technical team members, fostering continuous learning and innovation.
- Ensure all technical projects comply with security policies, industry standards, and regulations.
- Work with project management and finance teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and resources are optimized.
- Manage relationships with vendors to ensure service levels and project timelines are met while identifying opportunities for optimization.

Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in IT roles, including significant experience in leading large-scale technical projects.
- Experience influencing and leading technical teams to ensure successful execution of IT initiatives.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the $94,600 - $129,300 annual base salary range.
The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience so that the exact starting pay may be above or below this range.
