Job Description
The Strategic Account Manager (OTR) is responsible for developing sales plans and coordinating market strategies to establish, maintain, and expand sales relationships with major accounts and customers.
This role works to develop the total account management team to maximize profits. Responsibilities
- Primary strategic account relationship owner - establish productive, professional relationships across levels and functions.
- Develop medium to long-range sales plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with assigned accounts.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with accounts to develop and execute KPIs and cost reduction objectives.
- Manage and negotiate Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with key OEMs that secure the base business and drive toward profitable growth opportunities.
- Promote and drive sales of Mobility Solutions (Intellitire, Toolbox) to assigned accounts, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
- Actively own and lead the maintenance and / or growth of account business.
- Provide feedback and collect market intelligence to inform business decisions.
- Communicate and coordinate with region market teams to garner support for account initiatives.
- Drive results with consideration of field teams and dealer capabilities.
- Coach / educate dealer personnel to build advocacy.
- Actively manage sales metrics around progress to business objectives and goals.
- Guide and oversee strategic account service dealer relationships.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations, including account receivables and new location setup.
- Proactively promote and adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; 6+ years of relevant OTR experience including 3-5 years direct / indirect leadership experience
Or Master's degree; 4+ years of relevant OTR experience including 2-4 years direct / indirect leadership experience
