Payroll and Benefits Administrator
LHH Recruiting seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll and Benefits Administrator for our client in Phoenix, AZ on a contract to hire basis.
The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, and proficiency in using Paycom software.
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing employee benefits programs, and providing excellent service to our employees on all payroll and benefits-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities :
Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees using Paycom software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Administer all aspects of employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits.
Manage employee enrollments, terminations, and changes in benefit plans.
Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll and benefits laws, including FLSA, ACA, and ERISA.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain payroll and benefits records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of all data.
Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll and benefits functions.
Assist with payroll and benefits audits and prepare necessary documentation for reporting purposes.
Stay up to date with changes in payroll and benefits regulations and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications :
4+ years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
Proficiency in Paycom software is required.
Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits regulations and best practices.
Experience in handling multi-state payroll (preferred).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Details : $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
