SPANG Career Collective is a recruiting agency supporting the hiring process for our clients. Our client is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant with strong accounting skills to join our team.
This role is essential in supporting our administrative operations and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities : Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, managing emails, and organizing files.
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and expense reports. Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Assist in office management tasks, such as ordering supplies and managing office equipment. Provide support for special projects as needed.
Qualifications : Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and professionalism.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or relevant certification in accounting or business administration is a plus.
