The Business Development Manager is a self-motivated and results-driven sales team member that has a key support role in the Let’s Pave & Let’s Roof organization.

In this developmental role, you have your sights set on becoming more in the organization because you bring a wealth of cross departmental customer and customer support experience to the table that is important to the company.

Per one of our Core Principals, you know how to Get Sh Done and who to go to and how to do it. This role is for a strong and powerful decision maker that needs little to no direction and has very strong relationships with internal teams and their clients, nationally.

You understand Let's Pave and Let’s Roof's complete body of products, programs and services in the area of paving and roofing and related maintenance programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, industry associations and memberships and other lead generation methods.
  • Secure appointments for the Executive Vice President, Business Development and Vice President, Business Development to host sales and product demonstrations that effectively communicate both Let's Pave & Let’s Roof’s value proposition and showcase our services to potential clients.
  • Participate in the company’s 360 sales process.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline in Salesforce CRM through active prospecting and following up on leads to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, reports, and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and prospects by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their pavement and roofing requirements.
  • Collaborate with members of the Let's Pave and Let’s Roof Operations Team, including estimators, sourcing specialists and project managers, to ensure smooth transition and successful account acquisition.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to effectively position all Let's Pave & Let’s Roof services in the marketplace.
  • Assist in the preparation of Let’s Pave and Let’s Roof sales proposals and contracts.
  • Represent Let's Pave at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.

Requirements :

  • Proven track record in inside or outside sales, preferably in the construction, paving, roofing or related service industry.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with the ability to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of both Let's Pave and Let’s Roof services.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to understand complex sales cycles.
  • Knowledge of the paving and roofing industries is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM software, HubSpot, Hootsuite and other sales productivity tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally.
