The Advanced Power Architectures team is seeking a motivated, experienced Power IC designer to provide support to our CTO office located at ADI’s Wilmington, MA headquarters.

This opportunity has a focus on developing next generation technologies and disruptive solutions in the power management space.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Design high-performance power converter ICs including DC-DC converter / controller (buck, boost, LDO, charge pump)
- Design complex CMOS / BCD analog circuitry such as high-precision voltage references, low-noise high PSRR LDOs, high-precision oscillators, comparators, error amplifiers, sense amplifiers, drivers
- Model DC-DC switching regulators’ AC small-signal behavior.
- Present design documentation for review by peers and supervisors
- Validate circuit performance in the lab.
Minimum qualifications
- MSEE degree with direct experience, or PhD degree, with focus on power conversion circuits and IC design.
- Strong intuitive and analytical understanding of magnetic structures and field solutions
- Academic coursework and lab experience building switching power converters.
- Strong foundation in circuit design and analysis, including both analog and power circuits.
- Silicon-level design / simulation / verification experience
- Strong laboratory experimentation and troubleshooting skills.
