Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled General Handyman to join our friendly team. In this role, you will be essential in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services, ensuring our clients receive the exceptional care they deserve.
Key Responsibilities
- Repairs : Address electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues in various settings.
- Maintenance : Ensure mechanical systems operate smoothly and perform necessary repairs.
- Cleaning : Oversee general cleaning and upkeep of properties.
- Installation : Install and replace flooring, stairs, and piping as needed.
- Renovation : Repair and paint structural elements like doors, windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Waste Management : Manage trash and recycling receptacles throughout facilities.
- HVAC Services : Service and repair air conditioning and heating systems.
- Tools & Transport : Provide your own tools and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Math Skills : Utilize basic math skills to complete tasks.
- Communication : Build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Problem-Solving : Stay organized and effectively address challenges.
- Attention to Detail : Uphold high standards in all work.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (relevant experience may be considered).
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools is required.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Flexible availability is crucial.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- A contractor or journeyman license is an advantage.
