Under the expert guidance of our Clinic Nurse Director, Clinic Director, or Physician, you'll be a crucial part of our team, ensuring smooth patient flow and top-notch care.
From managing patient histories and vital signs to assisting with diagnostic tests and maintaining medical supplies, your role will keep our clinic running efficiently and compassionately.
Responsibilities : Welcome visitors with a friendly smile, figure out their needs, and connect them to the right team members.
Handle phone calls with professionalism and direct them to the right person. Get patients ready for exams by gathering histories, checking vitals, and managing medications.
Set up and keep treatment rooms spotless and fully stocked. Administer vaccines, apply dressings, and perform various treatments like suture removal.
Triage patient calls for follow-up with nurses or physicians. Manage drug refills, provide prescription info, and order essential supplies.
Complete insurance forms, maintain medical records, and handle correspondence. Route messages and documents swiftly and accurately, and transcribe patient interactions into medical records.
Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensure / Certification : BLS certification required within 18 months of hire.
Newly hired team members with a minimum of one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience or graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program will be required to complete certification within 90 days of hire.
If a new team member is hired with no Medical Assistant experience than they will have to obtain the certification within 90 days after obtaining the one (1) year of required Medical Assistant experience.
Experience : One (1) to two (2) years continuous experience in a clinical setting preferred. As part of our team, you are empowered to work collaboratively with our physicians and other caregivers, and play an integral role in setting the standard for excellence in patient care.
