Overview : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial roofing and construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the construction industry, with a specific focus on roofing & exteriors.
This role requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Coordination :
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Schedule and oversee all construction activities from start to finish.
Team Management :
- Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and onsite personnel.
- Ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members to foster a productive and positive work environment.
Budget and Resource Management :
- Monitor project budgets and ensure that expenses are kept within the allocated budget.
- Procure necessary materials and equipment in a timely manner.
- Optimize resource allocation to enhance project efficiency and reduce costs.
Quality Control and Compliance :
- Ensure all projects are executed to the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Address any issues or deficiencies promptly to maintain project integrity.
Client Communication :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding project status, timelines, and any changes.
- Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
Risk Management :
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the project.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are strictly adhered to on-site.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
