Our company is seeking an Industrial Machinery Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper repair and maintenance of industrial equipment, implementing preventative maintenance strategies, and working safely with all machinery within the mill.
Responsibilities include :
- Repairing and maintaining industrial equipment such as conveying systems, debarkers, gang saws, and edgers
- Reading and understanding drawings and printed instructions
- Working safely under high-pressure situations
- Basic understanding of machine center line ups
- Moving machinery and equipment using various tools
Required skills and experience :
- Experience with cutting torch (Oxygen / Acetylene) and welding (GMAW and SMAW)
- Safety-oriented with the ability to comply with company standards
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and be on-call
- 3 years of Millwright work experience in an Industrial / Manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or GED
