Job Title : Pumice and Polish Lab Technician (Entry Level)
Pay Range : $16.00 - $17.50
Schedule : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
Summar y : Responsible for the pumicing and polishing of appliances according to Great Lakes Dental Technologies procedures and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform precision polishing and pumicing of various orthodontic appliances, to achieve a smooth finish.
- Use a variety of abrasive materials, compounds, and polishing agents to remove imperfections, scratches, and irregularities from dental surfaces.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Checks products due dates and prioritizes work by completing work in order due.
- Completes assigned processes according to Great Lakes standards and time constraints.
- Performs Quality checks on product.
- Regularly clean, maintain laboratory workspace. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Performs assigned work functions as production requires.
Education and / or Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. No previous education or experience required.
