In addition to our own Gia Russa brand, we also manufacture various private label products in our LEED certified food manufacturing facility, situated on our 10-acre campus.
Along with our manufacturing, we also import from Italy as well as distribute to all 50 states, Canada and Mexico.
Throughout the years, we have brought consistently fresh, flavorful and healthy Italian specialties to the marketplace. We use only a few select ingredients that are pure and free of additives or preservatives while passionately upholding time-honored Italian traditions to proudly produce some of the world’s most sought after pasta sauces and Italian specialties.
Our Purchasing Department is looking for an individual who can work part-time hours Monday through Friday 8 : 00am - 2 : 00pm at our Boardman location!
Position Summary
Assist Buyers and Director of Purchasing with clerical Purchasing duties to include Vendor Deductions, Vendor Billbacks, Vendor Agreements, and other administrative duties.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required
- Associate degree or equivalent certification program preferred
- Minimum 2 years of office experience required, procurement related field preferred
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
- Ability to multitask, be highly organized and use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems
