Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in Louisville, CO. This role offers a hybrid work environment with on-site training and the potential for full-time employment after 90 days.
This is not an entry level role. Applicants should have at least 2 years of on-the-job experience with Google applications.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting our digital marketing initiatives, focusing on both paid search campaigns (SEM) and organic search strategies (SEO).
This role requires a detail-oriented, creative individual who can independently manage search engine marketing campaigns (direct buys, PPC, display ads), optimize website content for search engines, and contribute to other digital marketing efforts, such as content creation and performance tracking.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Director, Marketing Consultant, PR Consultant, and Alpen’s Product Development and Sales Departments.
Key Responsibilities
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
- Design and manage PPC campaigns on Google Ads and the Google Display Network.
- Write compelling ad copy for PPC and display ads, optimizing for conversions and ROI.
- Set up and manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track campaign performance and website traffic.
- Continuously monitor and adjust campaigns to optimize for conversion rates, click-through rates (CTR), and cost-per-click (CPC).
- Conduct A / B testing for ads and landing pages to improve performance and engagement.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website visibility.
- Perform keyword research and integrate target keywords into website content, metadata, and headings.
- Optimize website content in Webflow to meet SEO best practices.
- Use tools like SEMrush and Google Search Console to monitor SEO performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and troubleshoot issues.
- Build backlinks and manage link-building campaigns to boost domain authority.
Landing Page Management
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and optimize landing pages using HubSpot and Webflow.
- Ensure landing page content aligns with campaign goals and drives conversions.
- Track and report on landing page performance to inform future adjustments.
Content Creation
- Create SEO-friendly content for blogs, landing pages, and other digital platforms.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop content that supports SEM / SEO efforts and boosts website traffic.
Marketing Analytics & Reporting
- Provide regular performance reports, including keyword rankings, website traffic, conversions, and PPC metrics.
- Analyze data to optimize marketing strategies and inform future campaign development.
Third-Party Advertising
Help Coordinate advertising efforts with third-party vendors, including print and online media outlets.
Marketing Administration
- Assist with various marketing administrative tasks, including coordinating marketing materials, scheduling meetings, and maintaining marketing records.
- Support the marketing team with project management and organizational needs to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- At least 2 of experience in SEM, SEO, or digital marketing roles is required.
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and PPC campaigns, including experience with campaign optimization and A / B testing.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO.
- Experience with tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with landing page creation and optimization, preferably using HubSpot and Webflow.
- Proficiency in Canva required; experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is a plus.
- Experience managing social media using Hootsuite is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in green building, sustainability, or climate change initiatives is highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Contract Details & Benefits
- Availability : Must be available during the Marketing Director's working hours of 9 AM to 6 PM, with a flexible schedule within those hours.
- Duration : 90-day contract with the potential to transition to a full-time role.
- Compensation : $4,500 per month.
