Senior Scientist

We are seeking a Senior Scientist, Laboratory Operations to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Indianapolis.

As a Senior Scientist, Laboratory Operations, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory processes, contributing to the advancement of global healthcare.

What you’ll be doing :

• Conducting and documenting analytical procedures in line with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Analyzing data to ensure procedures meet expectations and results are within tolerances.
• Identifying, documenting, and escalating any potential performance errors or unusual results.
• Providing hands-on training to laboratory staff and leading quality investigations.
• Overseeing the transfer of methods and SOPs and collaborating to ensure assay sustainability.
• Contributing to technical inquiries and leading troubleshooting efforts.
• Documenting all aspects of laboratory projects and identifying process improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining lab documentation and preparing data analysis results for LIMS system upload.

What We Are Looking For :

• Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology.
• More than 5 years of experience in a relevant discipline.
• Over 4 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

• Profound knowledge of laboratory principles, theories, and techniques.
• Ability to perform complex laboratory calculations and data analysis.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Leadership skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
